StoryWith AI Launches AI Manuscript Analysis Platform to Help Novelists and Non-Fiction Authors Find What to Fix

Oct 8, 2026

The Vilnius-based platform reads a finished or partial draft, ranks structural, pacing and continuity issues by severity, and adds AI reader personas, beta reader sessions and a readiness score, while leaving the writing itself to the author.

-- StoryWith AI, a manuscript analysis platform developed by SiloTech, a software company based in Vilnius, Lithuania, has launched for novelists, memoir writers and non-fiction authors. The platform reads a manuscript the author has already written and produces a ranked list of what to fix, rather than generating new prose.

StoryWith AI is built for authors who want to know whether a draft holds together before they share it.

Many writers reach the end of a draft without a clear sense of whether the book works. Feedback from friends and family tends to be general. A professional developmental edit is a significant expense and can take weeks. Literary agents rarely explain a rejection.

StoryWith AI is designed to give authors a structured diagnosis before they pay for editing or send a manuscript out.

How the Platform Works

Authors can paste a manuscript or upload it as a .docx, .pdf or .txt file. StoryWith AI maps the chapters, scenes and characters, then runs a set of analyzers covering structure, pacing, emotional arc, theme, dialogue and readability.

A continuity checker looks across the whole book for problems such as a timeline that does not add up, or a character whose name changes spelling between chapters. Setups and payoffs are tracked too, so a payoff with nothing establishing it is flagged before a reader spots the plot hole.

Every finding is collected in a single Diagnostics view, sorted by severity and linked to the exact scene. Each item explains why it matters and suggests a direction. Nothing in the manuscript is rewritten unless the author asks for it.

The Diagnostics view collects every issue in a manuscript into one list, ranked by severity.

“Writing the draft is rarely the hard part. Knowing whether it holds together is,” said Matas Čepulis, Chief Marketing Officer of StoryWith AI. “Most writers can feel that something is off in the middle of a book but cannot name it. StoryWith AI gives them that diagnosis, so revision stops being guesswork and the words stay their own.”

Reader Feedback and a Readiness Score

Writers can test an excerpt on AI reader personas, such as a literary fiction reader or an agent reading opening pages. Each persona scores engagement, clarity, emotional impact and genre fit.

The same excerpt can then be shared with real beta readers on a private link, with their reactions shown chapter by chapter.

A readiness score out of 100 lists the blockers that stand between a draft and submission. Authors preparing to query agents or self-publish can also generate title alternatives, a back-cover blurb, a query letter and a submission checklist from the manuscript.

Non-fiction projects add argument checks, fact-check support, citations in APA, MLA or Chicago style, and a book proposal generator.

An Analysis-First Approach to AI

Many AI writing tools focus on generating text. StoryWith AI works closer to the role of a developmental editor or beta reader and leaves the prose to the author. The difference between AI-assisted and AI-generated writing has become more important as some publishing platforms ask authors to disclose AI-generated content.

According to the company, manuscripts are visible only to the author and the collaborators and readers they invite. They are not used to train AI models and are not sold. Books stay in the account if a subscription is cancelled and can be exported to Markdown at any time.

“A manuscript can represent years of someone’s life, and authors are right to be careful about where it goes,” said Čepulis. “The tool should help a writer see the book more clearly. It should never take the book away from them.”

Availability

StoryWith AI is available in the browser and as an Android app, with 10 interface languages including English, Spanish, Lithuanian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian. Co-authors and editors can work on the same book in real time.

Paid plans start at $19 per month. A Studio plan for editorial teams and writing studios covers unlimited members at a flat monthly rate. Full plan and pricing details are listed on the company website.
