Once that foundation is established, the framework helps authors develop their material into narrative nonfiction. The approach is intended to make historical events engaging without losing sight of what the available evidence supports.
The package also includes Narrative History Studio, which brings the workflow into Claude Cowork and ChatGPT Work through dedicated plugins. The developers explain that the Studio automates aspects of workflow management, allowing authors to concentrate on research decisions and writing. Training materials are included to introduce users to the framework and its accompanying tools.
Beyond manuscript development, History Co-Author supports the preparation of supplementary material, including character references, chapter-specific source notes, and selected bibliographies. These components help writers organize their findings and provide readers with references to the historical material behind their books. Authors remain responsible for independently checking sources and factual claims before publication.
The release extends the Co-Author range into nonfiction following its Cozy and Steamy fiction products, giving writers interested in real events a separate framework for their projects.
