Axys Permits Partners with eCredentials to Unify Permitting and Compliance, Replacing Paper Credentials in the Cab

Oct 27, 2026

Axys Permits, a third-party trucking permit service, has officially joined forces with eCredentials in a partnership that went live October 1, 2026. The integration gives fleets a single platform to purchase permits, renew credentials, and store compliance documents digitally, eliminating the paperwork drivers have long managed from inside the cab.

One Platform for Permits and Compliance

Through the partnership, eCredentials customers can now purchase and renew oversize and overweight single-trip permits, trip and fuel permits, and annual permits directly through Axys Permits, without leaving the eCredentials platform. At the same time, Axys Permits clients gain access to eCredentials’ Digital Permit Book — a centralized, cloud-connected document store that drivers can access through the eCredentials mobile app or a QR code, online or offline. Real-time expiration alerts notify both drivers and safety teams before a credential lapses, reducing the risk of compliance failures at the scale house.

“Fleets have spent years managing permits and compliance documents across separate systems, digging through paperwork at the worst possible moment,” said Lukas Bichara, Director of Business Development and Marketing at Axys Permits. “This integration means everything a driver needs is in one place and accessible whether they have a connection or not. That is a genuine operational change for fleets running across state and provincial lines.”

Addressing a Persistent Problem for Carriers

For carriers operating oversize and overweight loads across multiple jurisdictions, compliance documentation has historically meant paper: physical permits stored in the cab, tracked manually, and replaced when lost or expired. The eCredentials Digital Permit Book replaces that process with a digitized record accessible by QR code, with automatic alerts built in. Axys Permits fulfills every permit ordered through the platform and supports carriers with complex oversize moves, with its permitting team available for guidance on routing and regulations, giving fleet managers and owner-operators a complete compliance workflow.
